ThriveAxis was founded by a team that had spent careers inside the healthcare system — and had watched it consistently fall short for people who wanted more than disease management. People who wanted to perform better, feel better, age better, and actually understand what was happening inside their bodies.
Our co-founder Jeremy Barker spent 17 years as a firefighter and paramedic. He watched colleagues burn out, gain weight, develop metabolic conditions, and get handed prescriptions for symptoms rather than solutions. He watched a healthcare system that was extraordinary in emergencies and consistently mediocre at prevention and optimization. He got tired of watching it.
